What is The Village on Lee Retirement Center?
The Village on Lee represents a different approach to retirement living. Our residents are active, independent and able to
care for themselves.
The choice to live in a community which offers a comfortable, congenial environment with many services and amenities
included in one monthly fee.
The staff takes care of day-to-day concerns such as cooking, cleaning and laundry, enabling residents to pursue outside
interest they may not have had time to enjoy before.

Do the suites require a lease or contract?
Yes, we have contracts for a month-to-month term, a three month term and a six-month term. During any
month-to-month term, the residents must only give a thirty day written notice of departure from the facility. Other
contract terms will be explained before you move in .

Is The Village on Lee a nursing home?
No.

Are there planned activities for residents?
A full-time activities director plans a calendar of events for each month with special activities every weekday and many
festive get-togethers. Included are activities such as morning exercise sessions, devotionals, Bingo, dominoes, monthly
birthday and theme parties, outings and many others.
We understand the need for privacy, and that it may be a difficult transition coming from your previous home to your
new home. So if you are hesitant about joining at first, don't worry. You will find your own pace and participate when
you are ready.

What is included in the monthly fee?
Virtually everything! It includes your suite, three meals daily, housekeeping and laundry services, 24 hour staff, daily activities, utilities including
basic cable and more. The only thing it does not cover is your telephone expense.Is transportation available?
Yes, We provide scheduled transportation on a regular basis to doctors appointments. We also provide transportation for a weekly shopping trip and
other community activities and facility sponsored outings, such as local theatrical productions and musicals events.

Are meals included in my monthly fee?
Three meals a day are included in your monthly fee. All meals are home cooked and are prepared in The Village on Lee's fully equipped kitchen.
All meals are served in our lovely dining room, buffet style.

If I do not eat three meals a day would that lower my monthly fee?
No, there is not a reduction in price if you do not eat three meals a day.

May I have a guest join me for lunch or dinner?
Absolutely. We encourage our residents to have family and guests for meals. There is a small fee to cover our costs.

What happens if I become ill and cannot come to meals?
Sick trays are available upon request for a limited time period.

May I bring my on furniture?
We encourage our residents to bring their own furniture and to make their personal residence as homey as they like with their own possessions.

May I have my own phone?
Each suite has a telephone jack and television hookup. Residents may make arrangements with the local phone company to have their phone
installed just as they would in their own home. Individual residents are responsible for any costs associated with the installation, maintenance,
and monthly charges, one of the few items not covered by their monthly fee to The Village on Lee.

Do you make beds and clean?
Housekeeping services are provided biweekly which includes complete room cleaning and bed changing services. We also provide personal
laundry services on a daily basis as part of your monthly fee. However, you may do your own laundry if you prefer.

I own and still drive my car. Is there parking available?
Ample parking is provided free of charge for our residents. We also have limited covered parking available.

What about church services?
We do offer non-denominational bible study and church services on a weekly schedule at the Village on Lee.

What type of security is provided?
The suites are equipped with a fire alarm system and a 24 hour Security System. All doors are locked from the inside at dusk for residents' safety.
The residents will have a key to the front door for their convenience. Your suite is your home. Every resident has their own key to their own suite for privacy.

What happens in a medical emergency?
We are in close contact with local medical facilities which are just minutes away. Individual rooms are also equipped with emergency call buttons so that
residents may summon assistance in case of an emergency 24 hours a day. Our staff will then contact proper medical personnel in any emergency situation.

If I have regular medical appointments close by will you provide transportation?
Yes. The Village on Lee will provide transportation to and from doctor's appointments.

May I have my children over for a visit? May they stay overnight?
Yes. There are no specific visiting hours. This is your home. We just ask that you make management aware that you are having a family member stay in
your private residence for a visit. There are no fees except for their meals.

May I use the lounges for parties?
Yes, and at no extra cost. The common areas of the Village on Lee are for the use of all the residents. We only ask that you give us advance notice so that
the activities of the other residents are not affected.

Does medical or renter's insurance come with residence at The Village on Lee?
Residents must make their own arrangements for renter's or medical coverage.

Are there any other costs?
We do offer the convenience of an on site beauty shop. These services will require the normal beauty shop fees. Here haircuts, styling,
perms, manicures, et cetera.
